Default Audio Install

Hey guys, started on Sunny's audio install today....thought I'd post some progress pics up. Most of today was spent gathering various bits and pieces for the install so work on the car started about 3pm :

The new gear purchased today consists of 3 Alpine 12" Type S subs (Dual 2 ohm voice coils) and a Jaycar 820WRMS monoblock amp to power them. This will be added to the existing equipment from the old EB which included an Alpine 1005 in-dash monitor with TV tuner box, VCD and CD stackers, Alpine 4 channel amp (for powering front and rear speakers), Alpine DDD 6.5" splits and Alpine 6" 2 ways for the rear. There is also a Alpine time-alignment processor which may or may not be installed as well.

Sunny wants the boot to have a 'factory' look to it so we'll be sticking to grey and black carpet with a few highlights here and there, and basically just boxing off the boot.

The job should be finished over the next couple of days, so I'll keep you updated with some progress pics. Anyway, all that got done today was we removed the old LPG tank and built the sub box which is sealed and has an internal volume of 150ltrs which will suit these subs well. The battery was in the boot anyway, but has now been re-located to between the rear of the sub box and the rear seats.
