Exclamation Why is it........?

The fat guy on that show 'Lost' has been on a desert island for months....but he's still fat

Victoria cops have bright yellow traffic ops cars to act as a visual deterant to increase the visability of the police presence on the roads ...yet speed camera cars are unmarked and undercover?

If all the science that is devoted to anti ageing creams, shampoo development, cosmetics, shaving etc was devoted to helping mankind would we already have a cure for cancer?

When you go to a concert to see a top band they play for 2.5 hours with a 15 minute break - go to a pub to see a band and they can't play for 20 minutes without 'having a short break' for the next 30 minutes?

Any one else think of things like this?
