A mate applied for a very lucrative job, plenty of benefits, was all approved so went on the waiting list for the position, so essentially the next call from the prospective new employer was the green light.

At the time he was working two jobs, the first 4 days a week and a casual night job with the other (used to finish the day job and grab a couple of hours sleep then head to the next)

His wife recently gave birth to their first child so he had 3 weeks off from his day job, three days back he gets the all important call, heads outside to take the call, walked back in to work, packed his stuff and left in the middle of his shift!!! After working there for 5 years that's about what it meant to him.
