Default How To Annoy a Hybrid Driver

:
Was last week down from the central coast to northern sydney suburbs.
Stopped at a set of lights (had taken my real toy for a run) (no not a ford but a V8 valiant sedan with 3" exhaust and all the rumble of a twin system),
any way in the right hand lane pull up a Pirius (i think) windows wound down to save on aircon using up electricity, that was being pumped through stereo, young guys that would normally drive ricers but mummy and daddy probarbly think they are doing the right thing for the enviroment. :
Passenger leans out of window and says something along the lines of earth destroyer and planet rapist. I wound down my window, for him to repeat it, which he did, so I replied It's so cool in here the beers are icing up, and thank you for leaving some oil in the ground, for my use and others like me. To which I got the one finger salute :the_finge and an attempt to race me from the lights. Meanwhile my 21 daughter is sitting in the passenger seat scared that I would get into an argument with them. :evilsasmo
A bit further up the road, they managed to get in front of me and slamed the brakes on, : no worries think I, just stay back a bit, which I did until they came to do a right hand turn, at which point I stoped in the left lane blocking traffic, wound down the window, and reminded them that over 1800kg of steel would go straight through their 1000kg piece of recycled aluminium and plastic and also reminded them that, the firies have yet to devise a safe way of putting out these things when they catch alight, as they have a high magnesium content, like early beetle blocks and if you put water on them the burn fiercer. :evilsasmo
Just put this up may start some conversations
I do not want to start arguments about saving the planet.:monkes:
As I say my V8 is a toy ,my daily car does 7.6L/100k, (it used to be an XF GHIA but did not need the size or power anymore, (but still prefer over holdens any day)
But some of this hybrid technology is dangerous. I am a member of the Rural Fire Service on the Central Coast, and the F3 freeway is in our area we have been told if it is a hybrid powered vehicle attempt to get people out, if we can, or assist other services to but otherwise let it burn, as they are unsure if the foaming agent we carry on the truck would help as it mixes with water, and we only carry one carbon dioxide extinguisher on each truck
