As I have stated total dog bites are such a tiny percentage of the dangers that we face everyday.
To single out A LIVING BREATHING CREATURE capable of loving and returning affection over the thousands of inanimate dangers and/or wildlife (that are protected by law) that we face in our everyday lives is ridiculous.
And I agree with you... but nobody has suggested a better way of reducing the amount of dog attacks.... apart from the soft option of education.

Yes I drive a car... but if I endanger the life or kill others with my car I can expect it to either be taken from me, have my license taken, imprisoned or all of the above.
What can irresponsible dog owners expect... a fine? Then we can re-educate them and go and live in a field of daisies and plait each others hair all day.
No I dont think banning pitbulls will fix the problem but atleast its something.

We dont need to introduce education.. we need restrictions because thats the only thing morons and cretins understand. Why cant dog (or any animal) ownership be like gun ownership where you have to prove you are responsible and own a dog that suits your purpose?

I'm not against dogs.. i'm against dickheads and until we re-introduce capital punishment and public stonings then we all have to suffer the stupidity.
