I went through this a while ago.
AUDI A4 Pros: Extremely comfortable, very smooth, turbo diesel goes well Cons: Turning circle like an oil tanker with only one prop, servicing can be expensive BMW 335i Pros: FAAAAST, comfortable, sporty handling Cons: can be thirsty, price, price of options BMW 325i Pros: goes well, comfortable, less thirsty Cons: price of options Merc C200 (ended up with one of these) Pros: goes well, comfortable, good fuel economy, servicing not TOO expensive and price was much cheaper than the others (standard not eleg or avant) Cons: its a bloody mercedes, only real estate agents and other criminals drive them The merc has been great, it just cruises along without any stress whatsoever although I hardly ever drive it personally as it is a mercedes and only union leaders and other criminals drive mercedes......
