Spot on. Flashing lights she is obviously taking things as a safe approach as possible. I would hope my wife or anyones wife on this forum would be able to take the safest route home. Mean to say If the highway at night is dangerous for her, how dangerous would it be going unfamiliar back roads for a lady? She was far from being ignorant. It would have been frightening enough without the ranting.
