Had the opportunity to go out onto Port Philip Bay the other day and got on board this...
The below image shows the boat we went out in, it's approx. 8-9 metres long, just for a size comparison The next image shows the draft of the ship. They submerge the ship down to 23 metres and then using 3 tugs towed the rig over the ship and then raised it by pumping out the water they used to submerge it. Impressive sight I must say!!!
