Default R35 GT-R does a 9.05 quarter-mile

This Nissan R35 GT-R has been tuned by AMS Performance and turned into a serious drag racer.

Power?

How about 1,309 bhp (976 kW / 1327 PS) 995 lb-ft (1347 Nm) of torque.

Torque elasticity?

No problem.

The AMS Alpha 12 goes from 60 to 130 mph (96.5 km/h to 209 km/h) in 3.46 seconds.

The car also does the quarter-mile in just 9.0 seconds which is...hold on a sec...402 meters. By then the car is going 166 mph (267 km/h).

It's a treat too to see all four wheels burning rubber and AMS's test driver reports that the tires were spinning up to fourth gear and full-traction was only reached in fifth.
