I've always bought used and as of yet never bought a lemon. Sure they all had their little problems, but even new cars can still have faults. Sounds like the car yard you went to Hulk is a bit dodgy. Some of the little yards are. So are some of the big ones. But like has been posted there are some quality used cars out there, and 100,000kms isnt over the hill unless it's a little buzz box that has been thrashed.
