Unfortunately there are two model names that compete with the one Commodore name (which includes both sedans and wagons), so Ford will always be at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to quoting numbers sold, particularly the traditional Falcon vs. Commodore comparison. Publications such as Carsguide being biased toward Holden tend to use these comparisons to the detriment of Ford.
At the end of the day I think the things that should be compared are what cars have their R&D and manufacturing done here. Therefore Commy/Caprice vs Falcon/Tez.

The cruze is a good PR thing for Holden but building it here is one thing, R&D brings just as much money and employment with it.

Thats about the only ratio I care about to be honest.
