Hi folks,
So I was servicing my dirty diesel Hilux today, decided to change the fuel filter over. Being a very unskilled mechanic, I managed to get diesel everywhere. Most concerningly, I managed to cover my stainless steel watch in diesel. Now the band (one of those strechy stainless bands) is full of dirty, stinking diesel and I can't get the damn stuff out. Seeing as it was a gift from the missus, I really need to get the thing clean. HELP!!! Who's got a solution for washing out diesel. Tried soaking it in lemon juice to no avail. Any ideas? ![]()
