Question Boot lip spoiler questions

Im looking at getting a boot lip spoiler (Ive finally found one for sale!) to replace the ugly rubber one on my EB. The paint is stuffed and I want it gone (I like the spoilerless look).
Has anyone done this before or does anyone know if the lip spoiler will cover the holes left behind by the standard one? (This one here, excuse the crappy photo):

Also, what is the lip made from? Is it solid or a rubbery material like the one on my car?

Thanks guys.
