It suddenly dawned on me today that I have been driving for over 50 years. Ford holds a special place in my working and private life. Why? My first new car was a Mk1 Escort twin-cam, a truly great drivers car, however, a real pain in the **** to own. The list went on to include various Cortina models, Capri V6, several Laser TX3, Telstar TX5, Mondeo Zetec, Focus XR5. All of these cars had there good and bad points. Working as salesman selling Ford product for 25 years enabled me the opportunity to drive every model of Ford from 1979 through until 2004. Today, my priority is to own and drive a car that delivers it all. Reliability, drivability, and value for money. May be I am asking the impossible, the LZ Ford Focus Titanium is in my little world the best all round drive available. Opinions, let’s hear them.
