No, I deserve a shellacking! My actions were very inappropriate. I should have known better and done my own version of a jsea before I started the job. But, as defenseless a reason as it is, I was focused on the time pressure and reverted back to my old, bad habits. No excuse really.

Depending on the g/L strength of the glyphosate, it can take longer for a visible effect to show when the days get colder and less sunny.

Yeah, like I said, there are signs that it's starting to have an impact. The day was pretty dry before the rain, very little wind, sunny and quite warm at the start, so reasonable conditions, really.
The instructions said 6ml (IIRC) per litre of water for kikuyu. Other weed types were 11ml. Not knowing exactly what I was dealing with, I went for 55ml in my 5l sprayer. By the time I measured it out and tipped it in, it was probs more like 60ml. So reasonably potent.
Time will tell.
