Most good coffee machines are programmable for grind, strength etc. I have a Saeco machine too, and after some fine tuning I turned my "4" into a comfortable 8.5/9 out of 10. Crema and all.QUOTE] You took the words out of my mouth. I have exactly the same situation as yours and visitors always comment on how good my coffee is. I use Zarraffas 'Java Gold' blend beans. |

I love a good coffee, but it makes me feel really heavy and lethargic later in the day, whereas water keeps me going. I dont drink coffee much, because it doesnt boost me, it drains.

Drink a lot of coffee in my line of work.
"Free for a coffee?" "Let's grab a coffee" "What coffee should i get you?" "Have you had a coffee?" "Want a coffee?" Coffee Coffee Coffee. Cant beat good espresso, so long as whoever is making it knows what they're doing. Apart from lunch, which has really gotta be a FUIC/FUSIC. I'll drink instant, perculated, turkish, whatever.

That said, starbucks is terrible. They run their shots for far too long, and they don't taste right anyway.

Freshly ground, gf works at a rather nice restraunt in town, with a fairly well established coffee/ cafe during the days. bring me home a nice flat white any day, one sugar, if the bean is sweet enough you usually don't need it. and i'd say a cappucino but generally you get all froth, i want thick creamer, not froth.

I heard on ABC radio yesterday that a study in the US found that some ingredients in coffee (not caffeine) could prevent diabetes.
Now for that Latte... cheers Bill.

Definately start the day with a Hudsons Latte.... extra shot of espresso.
Coffee is great, average about 2 cofees and a can of coke or 1 cofee and 2 cans of coke. Additives. Coffee, Milk, No Sugar (except with instant 1/2 a teaspoon... its dreadful) |
