Ah, now how do I explain this...

I was thinking of perhaps a different chequered flag design (shape?) with the cross (faintly?) superimposed, something like a heavy watermark over say, 50% of the flag.

To me, your pic looks like a little red cross slipped in there when you were'nt looking

Did that make sense?

dunno if i've missed something, but i get the general feel that the banners are very simple small jpg's. why not try a colourful .gif banner? in terms of a name, definately go for something short, sweet and relating to your business.

24/7 is so American I probably wouldn't bother looking any further. I agree with those that suggest some explanation as to what it is you're selling in the name is a better idea

i assume you plan on making it look good and this is a rough idea? if not then you need to look at making it look better :P

honestly sites 1. with overly large amounts of white space and 2. with a plain cheap looking header i tend to dismiss pretty quickly

Docs Auto online car care is good or Docs Car Care Online

Doc is it possible for you to get a .au address instead if the .com?

I know that when I'm looking for anything I go to the Oz sites first. I use Google Aus so I dont know if the Aus version would even pick up your place with a .com address.

the above looks pretty good to me..
i personally dont worry too much about a banner when browsing but im not really a big e-spender!

i just look for products and price
flag looks really good imo, but the doc's auto still needs some work, perhaps italics?

Perhaps fill in the white square in the middle of the cross. I don't think it quite stands out just enough to be noticed.
