Still collecting parts for the EF rebuild. Anyone know if EL XR6's came standard with LSD and what ratio??. Am looking at wrecked XR6 but want to know if there is a way to tell LSD or the ratio.. What is the going rate for 2nd hand LSD diffs ???

Yeah the EL XR6's came stock with 3.45 LSD.

certain its 3:45 LSD (no xr had single spinner), i think i sore someone selling a 3:45 LSD for $750 2nd hand in the for sale section of the forums..

the new N/A ba xr6's come with 3.46SS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lsd only on turbos!!!!

Just out of interest, did you have issue with differences in the Watts linkage, or (question now redirected towards others) was this an XR8 thing only? -Dave- |

True, did research and found that LSD was option on EL also BA XR6's. Checked all out before buying and was legit LSD. Did not have any probs with Watts link. Was basically a straight swap.
If the *** end falls out I'll let you know!!!! |

What were the ratios on the 4L EFII Fairmonts and how do i tell which one i have?
IS there an XR6 LSD that will match my current ratio as i like what i have. What ever it is |

EFII Fairmonts have 3.23 ratio but no LSD. The Ghias got 3.45 and LSD !
The LSD centre will fit your diff OK its got nothin to do wit the the number of teeth on the crownwheel. |
