Hi Guys,
I'm currently having an issue when I put the heater on, there is a strong sort of spice smell. I've looked on You tube to see where the in cabin air filter is and have removed the fuse box there. There is a section where the filter is and when I removed the plastic cover, there was no filter in there. Am I looking at the right place? thanks in advanced |

Yes. I believe the Focus didn’t have the filter as standard fitment but as it’s the same platform as Mazda 3 and Volvo V40 of the day, they’re easy to come by.
It’s probably got leaves and rubbish in the bottom so wipe it out, then if there’s a smell spray an aircon deodoriser in there whilst running the system. Once you fit a cabin filter don’t forget to change it once every year or two. |
