Coz with the same torque you will make 50% more power at 9k than 6k

And there not much chop anyway, put a bit of power to the rears and they break, only to spend $5000,make it "stronger" and break it again.

Know a guy with an older CRX, uses it for hill climbs and what not. Never been in it, but apparently it's faster than his Lotus around Winton. Runs carbies after they discovered all the injection gear weighed 26 kilos. I couldn't get over the fact it had plastic panels.

Strange part about these engines is they turn backwards to all other motors...
Dart make blocks for them and can be taken to 3 Ltr ..
Most U.S hi po parts suppliers have Honda assemblies....

Honda has a huge following in the U.S and making 500hp+ is relatively commonplace from what i gather.

Amazing considering thats coming from 1.6litres even though its turbocharged.

Then again, 1.3 litre suzuki motors are making that power on completely stock motors...

Silver top engines with 60,000km (claimed) can be had for around $500 - peanuts. I got quoted $2,500 drive in/out to convert our csx.. 20v engine, manual box, new front suspension and bigger front brakes. Thats makes for a very cheap and very fast track car :

The variable manifold is very primative but keep in mind these things are 19 years old now!
I suppose all your points above make the 20V make sense!

When I was young and didn't know any better I always wanted a CRX. I'm not sure why...
