Yet, based on one stupid little fact, you call me a retard without knowing anything about me? That perhaps says more about you than it does about me.

Somebody else voted on the thread, pushing it to the top. I read the first page only, then responded.

The thread was already at the top of the pile, which is something I had nothing to do with.

So stop the arrogance and the bullrot because the fact remains, I did nothing bad.

You don't get that one.
That's not my fault.

It shows how using the wrong word conveys a different meaning.

It's meant to sound retarded, because that's what poor spelling and punctuation can do to a message.

My gripe is with Mrs Ringo family.

Its her birthday today (08/10/2007) and once again they have failed to give a crap about it and let her down.

She has given them so much help (incuding financial) that this is the time for them to put their drama's to one side and make a big deal about her. Yet they failed to do it...again for the third year running. There is alway some drama that takes precedent.

She feels so used....She was crying on my shoulder last night wishing it was not her birthday today...

Anyway she has asked for my folks to join us for dinner tonight because like me, they think she is wonderful and together we will ensure she feels that today is all about her.

****ed me off to see that. i'd be ****ed off if i was a young person these days big time . there is nothing for them to do. not even a band . nightclubs suck. give me a pub with a duke box and a pool table .
Theres a reason for that, 99% of the guys who go out to night clubs are arrogant jocks wearing pink V necks. If I were a chick I wouldnt go near em either!

excessive use of the word "like" during a sentence. I always bring it to the speakers attention, doesnt matter if i dont know them or i just met them, ill tell them to stop and think before talking their next sentence and to not use the word like.

usually i get ppl angry at me but i dont care

My Mum has been ignored by her family her entire life.

Her sister for a wedding present received land and a house, Mum got a washer and dryer!

After Mum's dad died, Mum's sister got $60,000 and 2 more houses. At the same time, Mum got nothing.

Mum has moved on and said "funk 'em" as she realises her family is under the roof that she currently lives under. And she wouldn't have it any other way.

As FMC said, remind her how much of an important member of your family she is.

I know it's not as simple as that. But we all mean well and wish Mrs Ringo a Happy Birthday!

I hate...

- the music they play on 2day FM (Syd). Would much rather listen to the classic hits station.
- Kyle Sandilands. 'nuff said.
- Impatient pricks. Especially on the road.
- A***holes who don't say Please and Thank You. With the amount of times I copped
a clip across the ears for not saying please & thank you, it really peaves me to see this.
- Parents who don't disipline their kids. I remember copping a flogging in the middle of
the supermarket when I misbehaved. Now I see kids going absolutely mental in the
supermarket and their parents don't give a crap!
- As someone described earlier... These "I'm too good for you" girls at the dance clubs.
- The lack of GOOD Australian content on TV. When I was a kid I remember watching
stuff like, A Country Practice, Hey Dad, Hey Hey It's Saturday, Newlyweds (Not the
stupid Jessica Simpson show but the Aussie sitcom).
- Speed Cameras. Stupid Knee Jerk reaction P-plater laws.
- People who tYp3 LiK3 Th15 or spel lik dis.
- TXT TLK is also very homosexual.

That's all I can think of at the moment...

Thanks for the posts....

UPDATE:

Her mum called her in the morning and took her out for lunch for her brithday plus came through on a gift, didn't spend the whole time b*tching about her husband........and paid. I was speachless.....truly speachless

Her dad made an appearance that afternoon..quick visit but a visit all the same and came bearing a gift he chose by himself for once. I was gob smacked. A visit and a gift....I thought the moon was blue!

There were more gifts and good conversation over good food with my folks at dinner.

At the end of the day Mrs Ringo ended up feeling thoroughly spoilt...and appreciated....and was beaming....something every husband loves to see.

It turned out so very different from how it was shaping up on Sunday night and from the birthdays of the last few years...

Perhaps this should now be on the positive thread?

Glad to hear Mrs Ringo had a swell day and also happy to see that her family came through for her.

Hope she finds room for her three new toasters :P

OK, I may not be getting any skinner by eating it for lunch, but made by someone who knows what they are doing they are very yummy, plus they are also fairly cheap for the value you get compared to a salad roll at the local store.

Can't say I hate bad drivers or speeders etc. I am one!

I hate people that slam there brakes on because they think you're following to close, just to try and teach you some sort of lesson. It just causes an accident where there wasn't going to be one, idiots.

As for the music, well I'm kind of in the middle, because I like most 'old' and 'new' stuff so long as not sang by sterotasticle idiots like TimberOver, or Britney No Hair, along with Christina "I dress like a slut" Augulira, and other idiots. Compared to these dopers, emos seem normal this day and age!

PS. Im 19.

Haha I wish I found this thread last week I would have filled the page.

Atm my only gripe is people who don't work for what they get. Spoiled kids getting mummy and daddy to pay for everything. People who get a car for free (wtf!) The people put up with working for a living makes me angry that some people get it so easy.

That and todays music, absolute drivel. If Justin Timberlake got hit by a bus it would do the music industry alot of favours

There's nothing wrong with you're parents buying you stuff!!
then i must be one of these "spoiled kids" that gets his car for "free" ... i don't work, but my parents are self employed so i help out when i can, but i don't get payed for it!

im gratefull that my parents can give me what i need, i don't take that for granted ... you speak as though it's there fault that there parents support them?

atm, im 18 and on the 3rd car that my parents have bought for me ... but i doubt that im "spoilt" seeing as i hardly see my parents because they work rediculas hours!
