My Gosh Slick...my Great Great Great Great Cousins were in the great war between the Anglo Saxons and the Normans...did you know that the "up yours" sign originated from the French Chopping off the British Long Bowers Index finger so they were useless in a fight? Am i offended by the Gesture? No. Am i offended by the French? No. Do i hate you because your distant family were probably linked in one way or annother to some member of the Nazi party who probably had no Idea what Hitler was doing And because i'm British? No. In fact, Im just arguing for the sake of arguing...like you did ;)

Maybe you should have a look at your own typing skills before having a shot at someone elses. :MrT_anim: Is it really that hard to type a few extra letters?

Or hang on. It could've had a 3800 and made the harmonic balancer rattle. Thus doubling, as a gigantic vibrator. :hihi: (I know the hindenburg accident was tragic, but it's just some light hearted humour. ) Last edited by Ryan; 06-10-2006 at 01:04 PM. |

If CA and the AFL schedule their own air space using equipment, then the Holden Blimp will have to go away. You can impose restricted airspace without a justified reason. Good on Holden for being proactive in their marketing.

Some of you are such stupid children. If the aircraft had FORD or FPV written on the side of it you would all be congratulating Ford marketing on a job well done.
A few points: 1) All of the cities are primary control zones so if there were any infringments ASA would know immediately and CASA informed. The person controlling the aircraft is a professional commercial pilot and will not break the rules. This is not like driving where you get a $150 fine and 3 points. You do not get many chances. 2) Conspiracy to interrupt a commercial operation (shooting down the aircraft) is a breach of the Civil Aviation Act, Crimes Act and probably several of the new "Anti Terrorists Legislations". You think this stuff is a joke and no one cares? Make a bomb joke on a RPT flight and see what happens. If the aircraft IS actually shot at by some idiot all those who posted those jokes on here will probably find out that Police investigation is not actually like it is on TV, the HARD way. 3) The statement about the shadow interfering. Just as well we dont have clouds in the sky that move and cast shadows. Maybe we should ban all television broadcasts of V8 supercars as the helicopters might frighten the drivers or ban spectators from the AFL as they might distract the players. Check your calendar, the year starts with a 2. This is all part of life, build a bridge. |

*taking a chill pill* *relaxing* <<<some ppl might wanna do the same. i dont understand why ppl get upset with other ppl making jokes. big deal its about blowing down the holden airship. i doubt the police will google it and find a whole thread dedicated to blowing down the holden airship on the AFF...and as if they would take it with all seriousness, i dont doubt that the police are aware of the HOLDEN - FORD rivalry, and im also sure they are aware of how many ppl are regular larkins these days. *takes another chill pill* sum ppl just need to lighten up. as a wise man once said....Look at the plank in your eye before you look at the needle in someone elses.

Thats half right. 1) Shaddows effect Cricket in big way. And that is where this issue started, Not Bathurst - but the up coming cricket series. Play is called off because of shadows in cricket, also for bad light. Anyone who has played cricket will know what it is like to have incosistant light/shadows when trying to catching a ball hurtling from the sky or facing an opening bowler. Brett Lee bowls at a 155kph. 2) You happended to forget the main issue that was raised at the bigginning of this thread, the fact that Holden intend to free-load at an event for which Ford have invested millions of dollars in backing the Australian Cricket series. |
