hi all
as a new member to the ford clan i am interested in how the fuel gauge in a 98 xh ute works..jokes aside. when it hits the luminated area.how much is in the tank? and does that light start flashing when your really getting into the fuel twilight zone??? any advise out there. regards newbie.; Last edited by ford newbie; 12-07-2007 at 10:12 PM. Hi newbie (welcome to the forums!), you should easily get 50km from when the light comes on, and if you are on a flat highway and gentle on the accelerator 100km isn't impossible, but if you want to try that or much more I recommend having a jerry can as a backup just in case!
