As after the Olympics, get a picture of him running with the 'V-TEC just kicked in, Yo!'
Brilliant athlete.

Irrespective of Stanazalol or not, to run that time is obscene!
Ben Johnson always said, if they let him keep running he would have hit 9.6 seconds Eagerly await the outcome of tomorrows 200m. I think he will break that record again |

to be a world record the wind has to be within a certain limit. i'm not sure what it is but it was given world record status so whatever wind there was, it doesn't affect the record.
i think you can see a -3ms in the graphic on the video. |

Little did we know of the benefits of Human growth Hormone (HgH) at the time and how it can be used for peripheral benefits Funny how he and other members of the US Olympic team at the time had to get braces well into their adolescence....and all suffered from the side effects of prolonged hGH use. Protruding forehead and elongated fingers Back to the OP: Ectastic for him! I take the view that they are mostly (95% assited or have been in the past) and that the cream rises to the top : |

Fair enough, but once again, nothing has been proven YET, so I would rather let Mr Bolt enjoy his success than point a finger, when it could be wrong.

I hope he's clean, he seems it from his attitude. Very humble and down to earth. Ben Johnson wasn't. No doubt he would be tested quite often though, just as Lance Armstrong is who hides nothing
I had to laugh at his "jog" during his warm down and victory lap, some photographer was flat out trying to get a snap and still couldnt keep up |

"The Jamaican sprinter stopped the clock in 9.58 seconds, besting his previous mark of 9.69 set exactly one year ago at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. He had a slight wind at his back, but the breeze of 0.9 metres per second is well within regulations." |

Better training methods, better equipment, better dietary focus, better screening of potential athletes, better performance analysis, better efficiency. Records will continue to fall as time goes by. 100 metre sprint has always been the glamour track and field event and seeing Bolt run it so effortlessly compared to the rest of the field, pure poetry in motion.
The beach volleyball shot a little further down the page also had me captivated, perhaps a little more so... :P |

Man he can run like a duck on a hot plate.
Good on him too, he is a show man, but also very humble and has the utmost respect for his competitors. How good would it be to say I actually run 9's .

I do love this bloke as has been said, he is so down to earth and blazé(spelling) about it. As far as is he 100% clean or not, who knows and honestly, who cares. He'd be naive to think that all his competitors are clean.

reckons he's got a 9.4 in him. took him 33 strides to do the 100m. thats a smidge over 3m each. considering the first 20m would've been shorter steps, toward the end could've been around 3.5m or more each stride. like a kangaroo!! |

well well, not the first time i've been wrong. to think johnsons record stood for so long, and was only bettered in beijing by hundredths of seconds and now he's lowered the bar by over a tenth again. didn't look as smooth down the straight but to win by that margin is awesome. |

It is an achievement not many can say "I am the fastest man ever to walk this earth" (well in his case sprint, but still). Congrats to him.
