I've Worked at Dozens of Christmas parties, depends on what sort of blokes you got.

I used to do Sumo suits, bungee runs, gladiator duels, etc. stuff like that for Adults and at Christmas parties they'd go down a treat. A few drinks, a BBQ and the chance to bash the crap out of your colleagues and bosses always went down well.
The bungee run is a bit better for retail based places as there isn't any contact between players but its still great fun.

And it'll wear them down bloody quick!!
A few of the bigger parties had several things at once and I can say no one was there without a smile on their face.
Human fly wall was always good. Small trampoline, + Velcro wall + Velcro suit.

When i still worked for a boss we all went to the Yarra Glen races which was quite good. Meals and grog all afternoon, usually ended up badly the next morning

Thinking this year either that or a gokart day and bbq afterwards, I got a few more blokes to look after since the start of this year

I work for a large engineering company, who usually go pretty up market. This year the bean counters have told all branches to tighten the purse strings, so we are booked in to a day at a bowls club. Food and drink, plus a day of barefoot bowls. I for 1 am actually looking forward to a less formal do and a chance to let loose for a day.
When it was announced that next years may take the form of a "Christmas in July" affair, you couldn't hear yourself think for the groans of displeasure.

I'd be thinking minibus to karting then out for a sick pub chicken schnitty or steak and a few drinks. Would be a good night for me!
