More and More Impressed with Windows 7

For quite some time I have been looking at the possibility of getting a wireless printer or a print server/router. I used to have Vista Premium on the desktop, Vista on 1 laptop, and windows 7 on the other laptop.

Whenever we needed to print work out from either laptop we would save the file to usb flash drive and print from the desktop computer as that is where the printer is. Now that we have upgraded to windows 7 on the desktop and both laptops. It prompted us to set up a home group.

Now, providing the desktop and printer is turned on, we can press print from either laptop and it will send the job to the printer on the desktop.

(I am not saying this was not possible with Vista or XP, just the fact that Windows 7 pretty much did it for you in a way a lay person can understand and work out is impressive & that my way of solving the issue was going to be a new peice of hardware)
