Default ICC unit playing up after reconnecting battery.

First ever thread anyway, I have just recently disconnected the battery (neg- first off, last on), and when I started the car 2 days later only the trip modes and aircon temp settings were showing. No stereo displays or fan and aircon settings displays either. The radio and CD player now do not work. I have a 2005 BA Fairmont with prestige ICC unit. would appreciate it if someone could advise me on what the .... has happened. Excuse the nerves it is my first time.

Being serious, this happened with my BF MK2..You have to get the ECU reset by Ford.
It cost me $235 for battery and ECU reset

Did you check the fuses? I'd start there... then get someone to plug it in and see if there is an error code... Ford will do that.

Don't be nervous...it might be worth giving one of the site sponsors here a call, http://www.aslautomedia.com/ they specialise in all things related to the Falcon ICC's. As mentioned have you checked the fuses. This might not work however if they are ok, maybe pull them out, turn the ignition on then off and refit them and see if they power up. Can't say it will work, although it does help with troublesome Bluetooth module on the FG ( I know you have a BA).

Firstly, thanks everyone for your help and support. I have found the problem and I hope this will help others. All I did was push and hold the volume nob in untill the display reappeared.
