Yeh it is a mess, I suspect I will not have a lot of fun in the next couple of weeks.

I heard that Anna is moving all the speed cameras over the border to NSW as all the potholes have slowed the traffic down and they are not earning enough money.

Yer , Really think they shoudl rename it to Australian redidents and Buisness Flood donations , Not the premeriers flood appeal . Considering 3 buisnesses have matched and gone over what the state government put in on their own.

we realy need the money as the state goverment is broke so they will struggle to even fix one road let alone the hundreds that have been destroyed and still being damaged.

We donated a small amount last night as every little bit helps. Where I am we are flooded in for the 3rd time in 10 days and there are a few houses that look like they will get water in them. Luckily I got my patner out of town as she is due to give birth very shortly, but I am staying to help out and keep an eye on the animals as some neighbours have moved there horses and cattle in to our paddock as we are the second highest property in town

Yes unfortunately I fear that many will be screwed by insurance. Seems flood cover doesn't necessarily mean that

Anyways I have chucked in some money and have asked my friends to do the same if they can.

Here the details peeps if you don't know http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html
