Default Transmission Auto Repair Recommendation

My 2009 FG Falcon has just come up with the common 3rd gear slip problem.

Can anyone please recommend a good value trans auto place. I just want it repaired without it costing the earth.

So far I have had quotes between 1600-1800 a full reco is 3700

Anyone with a good recommendation?

Not sure if you have one near you but been using Fluid Drive for my transmission servicing, and had a reco transmission for my TL50 years back.
Had a AU that was slipping but for $200 they fixed it and lasted for 2 years il I sold the car.

Stay away from Transtyle in Hallam. Joe is a scam artist if ever there was one.

This is going back 8-9 years ago, but Joe has not changed his methods of taking money for nothing.
