i have a spare fairmont ghia digital cluster and i wanna install in my ebII fairmont but there are only 2 plugs inputs that go into the cluster and the ghia has 3 . is there another way to hook upp the cluster?

If it's off an EA/EB you might find it lacks smart lock or trans power mode lights. I'd recommend an NC series II/III Fairlane/LTD cluster, but even then I understand there's a bit of work involved to get the 'door open' outline to function correctly. So it can be done but it's a bit of work.

You might need to sign up to see it...but it's a tute on how to do it. I'm about to do it myself, however i wouldn't (and i'm not going to) bother with the door open outline. |
