There's two plugs on the driver's side of the box. You need to get under the car.

excuse me but im used to working on fourwheel drives, what is the safest way to jack a car up without ramps so i have enough room to work on the car? i have a scissor jack, a regular jack (the one you pump with the lever and is pnumatic) and any number of bricks.

an you'll need a 3/8 hex bit or allen key. The t5's only take 1.9 litres too. Best way to fill is to makeup a funnel with some hose and get a second person to hold it up outside the car untill full. Use something like a 75-90 gear oil.

thanks a ton for the info! hopefully ill be able to get this solved soon. yep ive got two bottles of 75 / 90 gear oil. strange people i live with haha. any info on how not to have a car fall on you would be really useful too! i'm thinking keep two jacks on it at all times, and stick a spare wheel/tyre under the car next to me so if it falls it will squash the hub and not me. any other ideas would be really good.

Hey dude did you say you had bricks to put under the axles etc? Throw them away and at the very least get a set of redgum blocks etc. Bricks break easily and your not much good when your flat man. A nice set of axle stands are even better :
See and been in too many close calls. |
