Default Changing Jobs

Hey guys, well its crunch time.. It looks like i'll have to change jobs both of my bosses (i work two jobs) have decided to cut my shifts back. Job A i'm now getting less than 9 hours a week, job B is seasonal and we don't start back full time till December (it finished in july).
I'm thinking about changing my career altogether and would love to be in around cars a bit more, but not quite sure how to go about it. I've had no training in the area but have a huge interest (and love) of all things automotive. I do have experience in cash handling and customer service (after all i am a checkout chick!!) and my other job, well lets just say the skills i have from there aren't really transferable, accept the team work component!

Any suggestions on what I should do and where to start looking would be fanatastic guys!

Cheers
Melz
