Default Why

Why is it when guys see a chick in a performance fast car they want to take them on?

Since we have had our Typhoon I have almost had someone try to take me on every day.

Last night driving home this idiot in a Mazda sitting next to me at the lights revving his car, lights go green I left him sitting at the lights and guys that is without the edit on!! :

I am not a street racer but when idiots like that are there you have to show them sometimes.

Ciao

I Don't think it has anything to do with being a chic thats guys want to take you on at the lights, you drive any of these cars be it a Typhoon/ gt/ xr6-8 there is always some one at the next set of lights waiting to take you on and in most cases its a pice of sheite they are driving.

Im sure said hoons would have challenged the typhoon regardless of the gender of the driver...

Maybe they are trying to impress? You know... show off at the traffic lights and maybe get a date? lol

It ain't the gender.

It's the car, when they see you, the gender is an added incentive....

Guess its a right of passage for some.... You have to try......

Enjoy it, after the edit, there isn't much going that won't beat you...

If it puts a smile to your face each time, enjoy it......
Within reason of course....

Cheers

Same with my partner - she gets people wanting to take her on all the time in the BA XR8 ute... she loves it too

We've got a tornado and I get the same thing. Chick & a fast car - the boys just want to prove they can go faster than u :

I'm looking forward to getting out on the track for my performance driving day.

Is it just me, or over the past years has the Performance ute become the new chicks car of choice?

I could say the same for females wanting to race as well. I've noticed lately that many women try and race me especially if I'm already passing them.

But I do agree with what many say here, it's not your gender, it's the car you drive. It's funny to notice that the ones that what to race you wouldn't stand a chance and the ones that would make it interesting won't go anywhere near you.

Guys do do what you say, I think its because they think we dont have the guts or the know how on driving the cars we own. My hubby loves it when I whip some guys butt, and leave them in shock that I beat them. I Love my XR8, especially when whipping a holden

Bec enjoys putting Commonwhore drivers in their place with the Territory ... cos they seriously aren't expecting it. I found this out on my way to work last night ... hee hee.

Poor VR/VR SS Commonwhore drivers just don't get it ... especially when the road is slightly damp as well ... No contest.

Had a laugh last thursday, on my way home from work, pulled up at the lights, a young idiot in a rice burner pulls up beside me and wants to take me on. After I opened the window and laughed at him, he revved the guts out of the thing, lights turn green, I take off calmly, he stalls it. Pull up at the next red light about 50 metres down the road, he wouldnt look over at me, so I start bipping the horn at him, still wont look. Lights turn green, he does exactly the same thing, stalls it. I just about pi**ed my pants laughing at him. Even when you dont try, the phoon wins.

A mate used to challenge himself ... it's try and beat people by setting himself a rev limit ... say 2,500rpm and he had to shift ... just to make things that bit more challenging ... mainly with rice burners.

It came down to shifting perfectly and quickly ... with a good launch as well.
