The whole interior was purchased from ebay as is - black leather, dorr trims etc from DL LTD.
I dont think that's a terribly flettering pic above Im not too keen on painting parts of the interior (anyone who has seen my car knows im not really into interiors at all, lol). But will look good when side bits and armrest get retrimmed IMO...

The door trims are not from a DL, gaurentee it.
Im glad he didnt paint them, as it is a HORRIBLE JOB, and well, painted leather, wrong wrong wrong.

the door trims are EL Ghia
the back seat is DF/DL looks like its all painted black.. and not overly well either :/ kinda blotchy

The 1st pic makes me think of a HQ's back seat...
black vinyl rocks :P But I dunno about painted leather :S Methinks it will look 1000% better when you're done with it mate ;) |

that door trim would have been dyed.
you can see how blotchy it is on the arm rest. there was no black interiors available on eseries so painting/dying would be the only way to go.

some EAs came out with blackened interiors... a mate of mine kinda burnt his EA wagon's interior when he thought that fuses for spotlights were a superfluous burden.

Its done with dye so it wont rub off!
Doesnt look all patchy in real life so thats alrite i rekon, in the pics its a bit yuk i would agree.. If i like it is another matter, but i like to think everyones car is different for a reason, to make others cars look better hehe. Some nice cars on here indeed - Time for an upgrade maybe if i could offload this. |
