green is nice.... thats a classic line from that film, again all time fav....
watched mad max last night, for the first time in ages, i will say that it is indeed a fine film, and some of the camera shots although not as great as todays films and very good. some very interesting editing, and, bought back heaps of childhood memories...

I would love to get a copy of running on empty dvd, as I only have vhs...
i also am getting a dvd of clockwork orange... as my tape is almost dead..

never heard of wow sight and sound? i'd pay $10 for it...

'A man gets selfish as he gets old mike'

The "It all comes runnin back" sequence where they add the nitrous
and he drops the clutch in a haze of smoke and fury still tightens the jeans
:eclipsee_
Ahhh the noise

Am I the only one who thinks this movie is crapola?
I think you guys got ripped off paying $6-$10. Well I guess tastes vary.

A few Better aussie films I can think of off the top of my head,

Mad Max
Picinic at hanging rock
Patrick
The Last Wave
The Castle
Two Hands
Chopper
BMX Bandits (LOL)

Has anyone ever found "Midnight Spares" on DVD? Another Aussie, low budget, soap opera acting classic of the '80's? "...the next time you see your shiney red Charger it'll be a canoe!"

Man I Haven't seen this movie. It sounds great. I might have to make a trip to Big W and get a copy. It would probably cost me $3 to rent it so I may as well buy it for $6.
I love BMX bandits. Such a cool movie.

I thought "The Omen" was bad, this is very close; not even the cars help it.

Maybe its the type of movie that you had to see all those years ago to still be able to appreciate it now : :evil_laug
