Default Rain & dust don't mix - Adelaide 2/4/05 !!

Drags in Adelaide were called off last night after about 2 hours because of a dust storm that blew in around 6-45pm....my car and my mates clubsport and vx commy were all blasted in dust and filthy.

On the way home we all called into a car wash to clean the dust off the cars as the dust and gone ( or so we thought )...

We all then cruised into the city and I headed back to Mt Barker and other 2 mates drove down south.

Mate with Clubby rang me on the way home to say it was raining mud!

He took these photos which speak for themselves.

Driving around Adelaide today I saw a lot of cars that looked like this.

Cheers

Brad

My car was outside last night in Melbourne and it looks similar to the VY in the pics, but not quite as bad.

I had the same thing happen, only thing that bothers me is i spent yesterday cleaning it... (looked in similar condition anyway because i hadn't done it for a few weeks) walked out this morning and it was filthy! bumper to bumper covered in mud, i guess it made me feel a bit better when i saw i wasn't just the only one, pretty much everycar left outside in adelaide got done.

Was rather odd seeing all these extra dirty cars on the road.
Washed mine an hour ago. All fixed.

That dust storm in Adelaide came up very quickly. My car was parked at work and looks like the clubby does too. Mud everywhere.

Yes My car and Neris' look like that as well Brad. We saw you leave but we hung arround for a while after (untill they canceled it). Both of our cars were filthy!!! Pitty about the shortened event.

I've washed my car about 3 times this week, including just before, and then after the crazy dust storm that finished with some spit that just caked the dust on in mud form.

Just feel good that you don't get the Mallee Dust storms that we get ALL the time.
