Au I Ute - Door Lock Switch + Steel Mate Alarm???

hey how are ya's?

i'm installing an alarm in my mates au falcon ute (supercab), and was wondering if the wiring for the central locking switch is still in the loom, even tho he does not have the switch on the dash itself, as i am having trouble hooking up the alarm to the door locks. if its any help or makes a difference, he has standard central locking, not the smart lock...

also, has anyone ever hooked up a steelmate alarm to the factory central locking? any info on the correct wires to tap into would be great. i also need to know what type of triggering the locks use as the alarm will do positive, negative, positive + negative, and baro triggering...
