I have recently come into posession of some escort intake manifolds, now ive been told by the guy who i got them off that they are worth something because they are the only thing that corrodes on the engines because they are the only things made of aluminium on them, so i wanted to know if it was worth trying to sell them or if i should just scrap them (which was my original intention). Any idea what they are worth??
any help would be much appreciated... cheers john. |

If you've got a 1600 GT (dual barrel weber) weber manifold they sell between $50-$100 depending on the casting. The later ones have the linkage mounts in them, so people will pay a little more.
All the pinto (2lt) manifolds are worth nothing....I have about 8 of them. Later ones have pollution gear on them and are vital for RWC on cars post 1976, but other than that, most people junk them for early pre-pollution manifolds as they are less prone to air leaks and neaten up the engine bay (less pipes/hoses). |
