Default Registering a quad

Does anyone know if you can or what you have to do to register a quad so it can be ridden on the beach?

it needs to have a factory stamped VIN/Chassis number on it to start with.
then you might be able to get Recreation rego or full rego.
in most places though (if your in Vic) your not allowed to ride/drive on the beach.

you can rego one as said with VIN chassis number. All the famrers (well most) have rego on quads that are ridden on the road. My untie had one with full reg. Could ride that where ever but wasnt really fast enough.

Varies for each state. Might want to tell everyone where you are.

A seat belt on a quad sounds a bit silly. I'm not saying that he wasn't made to fit one but what happens if you stack it? It'd be like watching one of those balls with a ferret attached bounce around....

In Vic you have to be a Primary Producer to register one.., I doubt that includes riding it on the beach..
