Default happy oh so happy me

my car started today just when i was about to give up...!

i was pouring petrol down the carb cuz my pump seems to be rooted.

but it started and i was happy so happy that i decided to do this post lol

en loud tho, its got no exhaust. just extractors

Happy days! I remember dropping a stock 2ltr in my MK2 about 15 year ago after pulling out the 1.3ltr. I was stoked! I would have done a couple a hundred kays around my oldies paddock before i got my learners permit..

ive asked the guys at work to see if they can source an aftermarket place that makes standard pumps for it. if it doesnt work out or they want to much ill go to you

hey man good to hear its up and running. i tried to start my 2ltr after getting everything working, clutch, starter, moving radiator etc. i think ive got my timing all up the and fuel pump is pouring fuel on the ground. ive been lucky enough that burson's have been able to source all the parts ive needed so hopefuly they will be able to get me a fuel pump as well. keep us informed on your progress. cheers

will do, i got most of my parts from ebay and asking escort enthusiasts.

the car still needs the clutch adjusted, gearbox filled with fluid, 2 litre throttle cable connected, and an electric fan.
