Default Escorts,Capris,Cortinas Wanted for Wakefield Track Day

Hey Guys,

Have tried posting this on The Ford Cortina website but have had no responses.

Since Eskys and Capris have more of a sporting heritage I thought I would try here instead.

I am organising a Wakefield Track Day on Friday the 6th of June (Friday just before the long weekend), I have around 3-4 spots available.

I have George and Andrew Miedecke coming with their Brute Utes as well as a bunch of other cars including Porsches, Cobras and maybe a GT40 replica.

My car is a 5.0L V8 Corty with alloy heads.

The day is fairly relaxed, with fast/medium/slow sessions per hour.

(So we cater for semi-serious to fast-casual fun)

We have race driver training from Michael Navybox (see Auto Action), included as well as timing and ambulance.

We have about 4 girls driving so other girls are most welcome too and won't feel intimidated.

Costs are about $190-$215 (depending on numbers), with a deposit of $100 required.

If you are interested just drop me a line at tim.jacky@bigpond.com or give me a call on 0438818017.

First in gets the spots.

Cheers,

Tim

Hi Tim, I have a Mk2 Escort rally car and a Capri and would love to come next time if you organise another one. I live near Port Macquarie and Andrew helps me out with a bit of sponsorship sometimes.

Unfortunately none of my cars are going at the moment but should be in a few months. :

What model is your Corty?
