I like the notion of this thread and have thought about it several times in the past. The one I think could work would be where you say what you do, and you say what you are after. That way users could elect to either pay for, or trade services.

IE:

Saam (Geelong)
Is a: Painter
Needs a: Tree Lopper
Trans Type: Cash or Swap

OR

Saam (Geelong)
Is a: Painter
Needs a: Nothing
Trans Type: Cash

In this example, people like me who can't really barter with our work still have the choice to just engage an AFF'er to do work we want done. If you happen to be a tiler that needs some carpentry work done, you could elect to swap trades.

PMSL the real reason for the thread pops its head up hahaha :

No look it's not a bad idea, however it only takes one or two people to not deliver on the trade or perhaps not deliver what might have been expected by the other person to spoil it all. The other problem could be what value of return trade they put on what they have already gotten i.e you give me a hand at the shop for a week and I wash your car : sounds good to me LOL.

As to the wedding cars Saam people on here are always asking and people on here are always more than happy help, what cars and what area mate??
