Howdi all,
I've noticed over some time that the power steering is heavier at lower revs. Is that normal? It's fine when you're driving along but particularly when you're parking or turn the wheel when stationary that if you don't have, say 2000 revs up, the steering isn't as assisted. Normal or in all likelihood something like the pump not working 100%?? I don't believe the steering fluid level is dropping. Like other Probe parts is it worthwhile looking O/S or there's local crowds anyone could recommend? I'm in Melb & it's a '94 Probe. Cheers |

I had problems with my Cougar but in my case it was a leaking hose. You should get it checked by a mechanic never the less. If it is the pump they are easily replaced by getting one shipped from the USA.
