help with engine how do i get torque settings and specs related to this engine online for free? ax Telstar V6 5 speed? repair guides etc

I don't recall the Telstar ever having 6 cylinders in Australia.

Telstar definitely had a V6. 2.5l same as the Probe. That wiki says only in NZ which is wrong.
Probably going to be difficult to find a complete database for a car like this as they arent that common. Best to just spend some coin on a manual from Repco or similar place. |

It is the KL motor that Mazda put in the 626 should be an all alloy motor if it is I can supply big End, Mains, & Head bolt torque.
Cyl Head: 1st step 23-26nm 2nd step tighten to 90 degrees 3step tighten a further 90 degrees Big ends: 1st step tighten to 22-27nm 2nd step tighten to 90 degrees Mains: Eight inner bolts, 23-26nm Eight outer bolts, 18-21 nm. Number 4 inner bolts (4 stamped on bolt head) tighten to 80 degrees. The remainder of the inner bolts ( 1 stamped on the head)Tighten to 70 degrees. Eight outer bolts, tighten to 60 degrees Please use this information carefully as it is supplied to you through datatek cheers. |
