Any ideas on what you would like to replace her with mate? or is it to early to be considering that yet?

Have the police found the low lifes that did it?

replacement?? well....i have toyed with a BF XR8 but the money just doesnt exist for me to do that. i have definitive figures floating around which put me out exactly 3900 and so that means i need to cover the shortfall before i go getting finance again. logical solution? borrow 10G, a good amount to sort of "work away" at. easy two years max to repay for someone like me. pay down my shortfall, then use the rest to fund....an E series! its the only logical solution i can see, as anything older comes with the problem of being more likely to break down on me. an ED or EF i can easily work on, gain decent power and the best part is ill have change from 6k(maybe).

but, as usual, this wont happen for a while. if at all. its just an idea i have been toying with the last day or two. i miss the XR quite a bit. i did not think a person could actually "miss" a car, its just metal and plastic...but when i think of how much the car had helped me, transported me around, etc...to see photos of her all burnt out and basically destroyed, ripped a hole in me. i still dont like seeing the pics....
once im "over" the XR(it wont take that long, seriously) ill sort out the finances and then ill go shopping.
V8? definetly,
Manual? a must.
MAV50L??? champion mate, the rep is yours and so is my friendship(wish more people on the forums where like you)

Good luck with the new car is all I can say. As you pointed out, you won't be able to get motor vehicle finance on another car which will include the $3,900 owing. You will either need to pay it off or get an unrelated loan, ie personal loan (not generally recommended unless you're desperate).

P.S. I don't think the theory of a second set of keys being used by the previous owner was ever a theory that any forum member actually considered as being even remotely possible. That is just absurd.

i think this thread has come to an end, everyone has been really nice to me about what has happened and there is nothing that can be said that has not already been said in the previous 6 pages.

however!!!! i was unaware that on a forum that is usually so friendly, helpful, fun loving and so on, there are people who would accuse others of such a crime as fraud when they clearly have A)no proof and
B)do not know the circumstances surrounding the crime.

what baffles me even more, is that one member claims to "have considerable experience in criminal profiling" yet does not seem to realise that IF the member he was accusing had actually committed the crime he suggested, then why would said member go and talk about it on an open forum where many many other members know him and where police are known to occasionaly frequent...?

thanks all for the replies, the thread will stay open if anyone else would like to add a condolence but i think it best if the thread be closed, as much as i appreciate the comments i really want to take my mind off this and onto new things. keeping you posted.
naish.
