Question Ford America Advertising V Ford Australia Advertising

The missus and I had a weeks holiday in America. We noticed each evening Ford had a least four=six ads on TV. Either Fiesta, Focus, Fusion/Fusion Hybrid or F150. A big difference to Ford Australias ads. Ford Australia don't advertise anywhere as much as Ford America or the opposition.
The Fiesta is similar to the Camry Hybrid ad..driver pushes the "start button" on the dash and things explode around the car as it drives away.
The Lincoln is very nice and quiet, quieter than my Fairmont Ghia !!!!

I wish the US would send some marketing guns to aust & not just the designers.. I dont think our ones are bad, just not great either..

Anone see the latest M3 add?? That is the sort was add I thought Ford should have done for 50th.. A mix of old model pics, with the new model pics & showing the evolution of the product..

the above one about the Fiesta looks like a take off of the toyota hybrid camy add we have here

would love ford to get the balls and go all out and rip some new ones on the competitors

Like DJM83 said, America is a BIG and different market, 300+ million people there against our 21-22 million?

I agree the American market is much bigger than ours. Compare Holden, Mitsubishi, Toyota etc advertising on TV, Ford is way behind in advertising. Ford need ads that get the viewers attention. I hope the coming Coyote powered Fords have a much more aggressive advertising campaign and not wimpy.

I understand that but it's still a great ad, And proves once again that we live in the nanny state, the government (fun police) don't even trust us to think for ourselves any more and make responsible decisions from what we see, hear, say ................

The great thing about Ford AU ads is that they are a really good cure for insomnia.

Soft voice overs, Fords slowly pulling out of driveways at 4kmh and 'twinkle twinkle little star' background music equals a very sleepy Brazen.
