My parents didnt want me having project cars either, that was until I found dads old photo album & saw a pic of what he did to his mums backyard!!

At least 2 mk1 cortina parts cars, & Anglia sports sedan project. Plus his mk1 GT road car. Then his 4 brothers had cars aswell all in the suburbs in Bankstown.

Since then Ive had a few cars in their backyard, like a mk1 escort & currently taking residency is my mk 2 cortina project.

So back to the thread.

Weekday & weekend car - LS focus zetec

future weekend car - mk2 cortina ratter

Cheers Blueoval - RS2000 was a daily from 1989-1998 then parked up for 10 years; re-emerging as a weekender after I joined the local Ford Club.

I picked up the Fairmont Ghia (low k factory optioned with Tickford kit, wheels, suspension, MoMo wheel, full leather, etc) in 2009 for a daily when I could not find a clean AU1.5 XR6 VCT with full kit.

Daily: FG XR50 Turbo
Weekender: VK Group A ( hehe)

The FG is that good I'm thinking about selling the VK and paying off my house as it's barely been driven since the FG came and is taking up space :(

Would like a XB GT 4 door as a future weekender though

I'm thinking about getting my old man into my WS Fiesta, he's down for the idea but unfortunately mum isn't, she reckons he destroys cars the way he drives, so she'd rather it sit there for weeks on end not being driven (i cant because im not on insurance anymore), then eventually when it does get driven it makes a load of lifter noise because all the oil has gone down to the sump again.

I want to get my dirty big hands on his 323 >:)

several years I had a confusing and dangerous mix of cars. Daily was a xd 302 on gas. Roughy was a xd with a 351 with 4v heads and weekender was a xd 351 running a spooled 4.11 diff. All being xd s , many a time I actualy forgot witch car I was driving and would get into all sorts of strife.
