Default Car Sales Review: Used BF Falcon

They cant help bringing up the old "Taxi" analogy in their articles and calling the AU horrendously floored, but they do give it a pretty good thumbs up.

*Sorry if this is a repost*

Meh..

- The BA did not arrive in 2004. It arrived in 2002.
- XR6 was not one of the 'high performance duo'. XR6T was.
- AU might have been cosmetically challenged, but it was not horrendously flawed. VT had more mechanical flaws than AU.

Very poorly researched article. Why publish a review of the BF Falcon when clearly the author knows nothing about them. Outmoded? Compared to what? A $100k Beemer? Midsize FWD? The pathetic VY V6 Commodore? There isn't much up against the Falcon to 'outmode' it. Just because the name plate is old, doesn't mean the car is old tech.

I noticed the inaccuracies, and even commented on them. Usually, especially with Drive, if you call them out, they edit their articles. Carsales still have not. Interesting...

i stopped reading after the third paragraph. The BA was released in 2004 to compete with the VZ? If you say so.

So bassically. They're dissing Ford with all facts being incorrect?

How about we start dissing Carsales because of their shithouse servers?

Read this the other day, it's pretty pathetic that they are supposed to be advising people and it looks like the writer has done about 40 seconds of research. Not even getting BA's intro year right is unforgivable, how on earth do you get that wrong? AU horrendously flawed? It just didn't look the part, apart from that it was a great car. It's ridiculous that someone got paid for writing that garbage, and even more ridiculous that 9/10 people who read it will take it all on board and not know any better.

I love it when people dismiss Falcons as "taxis", to me it's a badge of honour. If a car can get the ring flogged out of it day after day and still perform, then it's an indicator of just how good it is.
