Engineers Certificates State to State validity?

Ok I have done a search with nothing in the vain I'm after.

I have just sold my trusty 93 Maverick tow car and bought a similar 89 GQ Patrol from Sydney that has a couple of mods like a straight gas 350 Chev th700 that isn't 4wd anymore. Don't care bout the 4x4 bit as in the 3 years I owned the Mav it went offroad once, and I bought it for it's for tow rating to pull the Falcon to the races.

Now the car has all the Engineering Cartificates for all the mods done that is valid in NSW but can or do they transcend borders to be applicable to SA? I can't see any reason they would knock the thing back but want to go into the inspection station with a little bit of knowledge if I can.

It's a really tidy thing and some of you may have spotted it on eBay last week, should be picking it up on Friday thanks to a little help from the all round good guy Whoosha helping me to organize freight down to Melbourne, cheers mate.

So anyone else been through this? What do I need to know?

To the best of my knowledge engineering certificates or vehicle modifications arent transferable amongst different states

Example :
If its all legal in NSW doesnt ever mean itll be legal in QLD

I would be contacting the relevant authorities in SA and talking to them regarding what has been done
You could get it fixed to pass , or you could have just done your dough

Road laws and mod codes are on the relevant states websites

I have no doubts as to whether it's Legal with the V8 as there are a couple of them floating around here in Mount Gambier, just if I have to go through any drama getting it switched over ie; reengineered

I think you will need to get it engineered here in SA, but it shouldn't be too much drama though.

I've been on the phone to Regency and I have to fill out, then go from there. They say if the signatory is on the SA register it will all go through easier. Here's hoping

I bought an unregistered Mustang in Melbourne
which has had a RHD conversion done without and engineers report
I spoke to an engineer here in QLD and he told me that even with
an engineers report from Vic it wouldnt be recognised here in QLD
that seems to be the way it is here
dont know about any other state
but I thought if a vehicle has been registered in another state
it was legal in all states
so who knows

You'll probably need to have a approved Qld Engineer review the Vic engineers report,
he may ot may not need additional information and tests done to support your application for approval/blue plate.
