A wheel alignment fixes everything, when it comes to front end issues. This includes any little noises. Please read the manual carefully, as the these manufacturers spent millions of dollars making sure it is perfect.....Now why are there so many problems with my car, when I follow the instructions to the letter?....Answer, majority rules round here Lock me up and throw away the key because I'm a hoon....I got caught doing 59 in a 60 zone |

Reviving an old thread.
What about a crack in the driving / fog lights? YOu know the ones in the front bumper. Would that fail? |

Ask around...usually in most areas around the state you can find a guy like the one who did the roadworthy on an old Corolla for one of our sons (no names, no pack drill). I knew there were a couple of minor points that needed fixing...nothing safety related, but just a minor oil weep here and there and a couple of chips in the windscreen, but I knew that they wouldn't pass. I just really wanted to find out what needed fixing so I could get a safety certificate.
When I turned up, the guy had a look and said "So is the roadworthy for you or to sell the car?"...this implied to me there was two roadworthies he did...one strict one for sale, a big more lenient one if it is just you registering the car for yourself. Shop around... |

Yep, failed.
2 cracked fog lights and a cracked PVC pipe of some sort. Will just trade the car now. |
